Happy Earth Day Everyone!

 

Today on the way in I noticed some folks picking up trash for Earth day! Way to go!

 

I planted this plant today as well, which I grew from clippings of another plant.  It is really easy to do.  Just clip off a little less than a foot of the plant, put it in a glass of water, preferably close to the window. In a couple of weeks the roots will have started to come out.  Once this happens you can put it in its own pot and have a whole new plant.

I have the pleasure of living just a few miles from Lake Vermillion, SD.  On nice mornings like this it is hard sometimes to go to work and not go fishing.  

 

This Morning I did manage to at least stop and take a couple of photos.  The water was pretty still and I know that big fish is out there!

 

I hope you enjoy the nice weather and are able to get out and enjoy South Dakota!

Saturday was an awesome day in Brookings!  Thank you to all that were involved and especially those that donated to Helpline!  I was able to not only reach my goal but go over it!  There was a good turnout and I was able to run the 5K in less than 25 Minutes!

My very supportive wife Lori O'Donnell did the 1.5 mile walk.  This is us before!
